Having learned from talented Compositing Supervisors and VFX Supervisors across all companies, I moved to a supervision role in 2020, the role I’m currently holding at Folks VFX Montreal. I’ve then moved on to leadership roles as Compositing Lead for 4 years in 3 major studios : MPC, Framestore and Mr.X, where I used my technical knowledge and artistic vision to improve shots, develop tools, offer guidance, and ensure of the continuity and quality of projects in both movies and TV series. My expertise includes 6 years of compositing roles during which I’ve mastered Nuke along with developing a deep understanding of the VFX pipeline. LAMBERT: Some shots we can roto the dominant eye and then apply that to the non-dominant eye very easily, other shots require us to roto each eye. Over the past 12 years, I’ve been working for the Visual Effects industry in studios such as Framestore, MPC, Folks VFX, Mr.X, Raynault VFX, BUF Company and Macguff on 33 movies, 3 tv shows, 12 commercials and 1 short. Stereo compositing really removes a whole bag of tricks that a compositor can rely on, but at the same time it simply pushes you to create a new bag of tricks that work for a stereo project.
